2. Personal data we may process

When you contact us or request information about a property, we may process personal data that you voluntarily provide, including your name, email address, telephone number, travel dates, number of guests, accommodation preferences and the content of your message.

If a booking or other contractual relationship is established, additional information reasonably necessary to manage the booking, communicate with accommodation providers, process relevant payments and comply with legal or administrative obligations may also be processed.

Our hosting infrastructure may automatically record limited technical information necessary for the operation and security of the website, such as IP address, date and time of access, requested URL, browser information and server error or security logs.

3. Purposes and legal bases

• to respond to your request and take steps at your request before entering into a contract;
• to perform a booking or other contract;
• to comply with applicable legal, accounting and tax obligations;
• to protect the security, integrity and proper functioning of the website on the basis of our legitimate interests.

We do not use personal data collected through this website for automated decision-making or behavioural profiling.

4. Website analytics

We use Plausible Analytics to understand aggregate website usage, including page views, referral sources, country or region, device and browser information, and whether the English or Russian version of the website is being viewed.

Plausible does not use cookies, browser storage, persistent identifiers, cross-site tracking or advertising profiles. As with any web request, the visitor's IP address and User-Agent are transmitted to the analytics server. Plausible states that these values are used transiently to generate a daily rotating identifier for aggregate statistics and that the raw IP address and User-Agent are not stored. Analytics data are not used by Villamania for behavioural advertising or individual profiling.

The analytics service is provided by Plausible Insights OÜ, Estonia. We use it on the basis of our legitimate interest in understanding and improving the performance and usability of the website while minimising visitor data.

5. Recipients of personal data

Where necessary to deal with an enquiry or booking, relevant information may be shared with property owners, property managers, accommodation providers, payment providers or other service partners involved in providing the requested service.

Personal data may also be processed by hosting providers, technical suppliers, professional advisers or competent public authorities where this is necessary or required by law. Only data reasonably necessary for the relevant purpose are disclosed.

6. International transfers

Where a service requested by the user requires cooperation with a recipient located outside the European Economic Area, personal data will be transferred only where necessary and in accordance with the safeguards required by applicable data-protection law.

7. Data retention

Personal data are retained only for as long as reasonably necessary for the purpose for which they were collected and any resulting business relationship. Data connected with bookings, contracts, invoices or accounting records may be retained for longer periods where required by applicable law. Technical server and security information is retained only for the period reasonably necessary for website operation, troubleshooting and protection against abuse.

8. Your rights

Under the GDPR, where applicable, you have the right to request access to your personal data, rectification of inaccurate data, erasure, restriction of processing, data portability and to object to processing based on legitimate interests.

Where processing is based on consent, consent may be withdrawn at any time without affecting the lawfulness of processing carried out before withdrawal.

We take reasonable technical and organisational measures designed to protect personal data against unauthorised access, alteration, disclosure or loss.
